High Protein Banana Bread

Looking for a banana bread recipe that’s both nourishing and delicious? This high protein banana bread is made with wholesome ingredients like oat flour, almond flour, Greek yogurt, and protein powder—making it perfect for breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a healthy treat for the whole family.

It’s super moist, naturally sweetened with maple syrup and bananas, and packed with protein to keep you feeling full and energized. Plus, it’s gluten-free and easy to make in one bowl!

Ingredients:

1 cup oat flour

1 cup almond flour

½ cup vanilla protein powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp sea salt

½ cup full-fat Greek yogurt

½ cup maple syrup

1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)

2 large eggs

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

⅔ cup chocolate chips, plus extra for topping

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or coat with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, combine the oat flour, almond flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just incorporated. Do not overmix!

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the top.

Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing.
